Our Classrooms

Our school provides three mixed age classrooms (Daisy, Sunflower & Lavender). Each teacher plans developmentally appropriate activities for their classrooms. Students of all ages play together indoors, and during outside time in our playground and garden. Learn more about our classrooms below.

Seedlings: Ages 12-24 months

Our Seedlings class provides play and socialization for children 12-24+ months and a supportive community for their caregivers. Led by one of our fully qualified preschool teachers, this class is ideal for helping children adjust to the preschool setting once they are ready to enroll.

Daisy Room: Ages 2-4

The Daisy Room is for children between the ages of 2 and 4. Children in diapers are accepted without additional fees, and our teachers will work with you during the toilet training process.

Sunflower Room: Ages 2-4

Lavender Room: Ages 3+

The Lavender Room is for children ages 3 and up, including those who are preparing to enter TK or Kindergarten. While some of our children graduate from the Lavender Room into their local TK (transitional Kindergarten) program, this classroom also offers a great play-based alternative to traditional TK and Kindergarten programs.

Playground and Garden

Our age-appropriate playground and bike/trike track has been designed to encourage free choice and exploration. Our playground allows children to work on large motor skills, learn cooperative play and have fun.

Our students help plan, plant, and maintain our garden. We grow plants and vegetables to eat for snack time, attract butterflies, and beautify our space. We grow food and flowers in our garden and teach children how plants grow. It helps children learn about healthy eating, taking care of our earth and and respecting our community.
